DAY 1: Arrival in Marrakech

Our staff will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. Free time to have a first contact with the city. Dinner (not included). Overnight in Marrakech (The first day you can arrive at any time).

DAY 2 :marrakech – ait ben haddou – Dadès Gorge

Breakfast. Departure to start the journey to the Sahara Desert. We will cross the High Atlas Mountains (2.260m) where we will have several stops to enjoy the wonderful panoramic views. We will continue to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a Berber fortress considered the most beautiful in the country and a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Many movies such as Game of Thrones, Prince of Persia, Jesus of Nazareth and Gladiator were filmed there. We will continue along the road of the Thousand Kasbahs passing through Berber villages to reach our destination, the Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 3 : Dades Gorges – TODRA Gorges – SAHARA DESERT

Breakfast. Departure to the Todra Gorges, known for being one of the most imposing rocky canyons of the country with more than 300 meters high. We continue our way until we reach the desert where we will change our means of transport: camels. Thus, we will discover how nomads have traveled over the centuries. We will stop to contemplate the sunset and we will be able to do sandboarding. Upon arrival at the camp, an excellent mint tea and a delicious traditional Moroccan dinner will be waiting for you. With the Berber music of drums, we will enjoy a unique and unforgettable night, contemplating the immensity of the sky covered with a blanket of stars that populate the desert nights. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

DAY 4 : Sahara desert – Atlas Mountains – Marrakech

If you wish, you can get up early to enjoy one of the most unforgettable events of your stay in the Sahara, the sunrise: a spectacle of light and silence that will impress the spectators. Breakfast and return to Marrakech. Arrival approximately at 19:30. Accommodation included (Dinner is not included)
*The return from the desert to Marrakech can be done by flight departing only Friday and Sunday, check with our agent !

DAY 5 : Marrakech

Breakfast. In the morning (between 9 am – 1 pm) we will have a guided tour to know the city of Marrakech. We will start by the Minaret of the Koutobia (XIIIth century) sister of the Giralda of Seville, which is now the lighthouse and spiritual center of Marrakech. Then we will visit the Bahia Palace (S: XVI), symbol of the aristocratic life of the Muslim Middle Ages, where we distinguish its ambassadors room, with its cedar wood ceiling. Then we will go to the “Jemaa el Fna Square” declared a World Heritage Site (starts around 09:00 and ends at 13:00).

NOTE: From this itinerary you can add one more day, to spend two nights in the desert for an experience to meet the nomads who live in the desert and do more activities.
