Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate
We begin our Morocco tours in Marrakech, where we will meet our expert guide and head south through the stunning Atlas Mountains to the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. This impressive mud fortress is a UNESCO World Heritage site and has been the setting for numerous movies and TV series. After exploring Ait Ben Haddou, we will continue our journey to the city of Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Desert”, where we will spend the night.
Day 2: Ouarzazate – Draa Valley – Merzouga
Today we will head east through the stunning Draa Valley to Merzouga, the starting point for our desert experience. On the way, we will pass through traditional Berber villages, lush oases and breathtaking mountain scenery. Upon arrival in Merzouga, we will meet our friendly nomadic hosts and prepare for an exciting camel trek through the dunes of Erg Chebbi. In the evening, we will enjoy a spectacular sunset over the dunes and settle into our Berber camp, where we will spend the night under a starry sky.
Day 3: Merzouga – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga
Today we will further explore the Merzouga region, starting with a visit to Erfoud, known as the “Fossil Capital”, where we will have the opportunity to visit fossil workshops and learn about the unique geology of the region. We will then head to Rissani, where we will visit its lively traditional market and explore its ancient ruins. In the afternoon, we will return to Merzouga to enjoy some free time to relax or continue exploring the stunning desert scenery.
Day 4: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Tinghir
After breakfast, we will bid farewell to Merzouga and head towards the spectacular Todra Gorges. On the way, we will pass through stunning desert landscapes and traditional Berber villages. Arriving at the Todra Gorges, we will be amazed by the impressive rock walls that rise on both sides of the canyon. After exploring the gorges, we will continue our journey to the charming town of Tinghir, where we will spend the night.
Day 5: Tinghir – Dades Valley – Ouarzazate
After breakfast, we will head towards the stunning Dades Valley, known for its breathtaking mountain scenery and picturesque Berber villages. On the way, we will make several stops to enjoy the breathtaking views and take pictures. We will then continue our journey to Ouarzazate, where we will spend the night and have free time to explore the city and rest after a day full of emotions.
Day 6: Ouarzazate – Marrakech
After breakfast, we will bid farewell to Ouarzazate and embark on our return journey to Marrakech, taking with us unforgettable memories of our desert adventure. On the way, we will make one last stop at the impressive Atlas Mountains to enjoy the panoramic views and take pictures. Upon arrival in Marrakech, we will settle into our accommodation and have free time to explore the city and rest before continuing our journey.
Day 7: Marrakech – Casablanca
After breakfast, we will drive to the modern city of Casablanca, the economic and commercial capital of Morocco. Upon arrival, we will visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world, and explore the city’s bustling souk. In the afternoon, we will have free time to explore the city on our own, before settling into our accommodation for the night.
Day 8: Casablanca – Fes
After breakfast, we will drive to the historic city of Fes, the cultural and spiritual capital of Morocco. On the way, we will pass through picturesque landscapes and traditional villages. Upon arrival in Fes, we will meet our local guide and begin our guided tour of the city’s ancient medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will explore the narrow alleys, visit the ancient madrasas and mosques, and immerse ourselves in the rich history and culture of this fascinating city.
