Tour Itinerary from Casablanca
Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca.
Pick up from Casablanca airport to visit the “Hassan II” mosque. Transfer to the hotel and overnight in a riad with special charm.
Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat.
After breakfast, we will go to Rabat, to visit the Mausoleum of “Mohammed V” and the “Hassan Tower”. Overnight in a very nice riad.
Day 3: Rabat – Meknes – Roman ruins of Volubilis – Fes.
After breakfast, departure to Meknes, a city that grew thanks to Sultan Mulay Ismail. At 27 km from Meknes are the ruins of the Roman city of Volubilis. After the visit, we will go to Fez, where we will have the afternoon free and night in a very nice riad.
Day 4: Visit of the city of Fes.
After breakfast, we will have a guided tour of the imperial city of Fes. Full day dedicated to the discovery of the city, its culture and religious world. Numerous are the monuments that we will be able to visit: Medersas (Koranic schools), Chahrij, Bouinania Attarin. Also others like Souks, Fes El-Jedid, the Karaouine Mosque (first university in the world). Free time and night in a riad.
Day 5: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou Monkey Forest – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert.
From Fes, we will go to the Middle Atlas, stopping in Ifrane famous for being the “Switzerland of Africa” for its buildings with gable roofs. Then we will pass through the village of Azrou through the national park known for its cedars where the Barbary monkeys are found. Then, we will cross the Ziz Valley that will take us to Erfoud known among other things for its fossils. Thus, we will reach the desert where we change the 4×4 for camels. With them we will discover the dunes until we reach the tents camp in the heart of the desert where we will be welcomed, by the tradition of the Sahara, with a rich Berber tea. We will spend the night in the tents under a shower of stars in the desert.
Day 6: Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley – Skoura – Ouarzazate.
Early start to see the sunrise and then shower and breakfast at the bivouac, to leave for Rissani. This place is known for its souk, one of the most traditional markets in southern Morocco, where we can find a parking of donkeys who come to buy their supplies. Then we will go in the direction of the Todra Gorges, where you will be enchanted by its towering rock walls, a favorite place for climbers. There, we will visit the Todra Gorges and continue our journey through Morocco to the Dades Valley and then cross the Valley of Roses and the Valley of the Thousand Kasbahs. There, we will observe the kasbahs located in the middle of this valley of palm trees and then we will go to Ouarzazate. We will arrive in Ouarzazate also known as the “Hollywood of Africa” where we will visit Kasbah taourirte. Transfer to the hotel and overnight in a riad.
Day 7: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou -Talouet – Marrakech.
After breakfast, we will tour the kasbah of Taourourirt and after 25 km of route we will visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It is famous for being the site of film productions such as “Lawrence of Arabia”, “The Sheltering Sky” or “Babel”. We will continue our walk through the port of Tichka which will connect us with the “Red City”, Marrakech. Upon arrival, we will go to the hotel. We will have free afternoon and night in a riad.
Day 8: Marrakech – Marrakech Airport
After breakfast and at the appointed time you will be transferred to the airport to end our services.
