2 Days from Marrakech to Merzouga desert

Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ouarzazate – Anti Atlas – Agdez – Draa Valley – Nkoub – Alnif – Rissani – Merzouga – Camel Trekking – Night in Haimas in Merzouga desert (erg chebbi)

Pick up at 06h30 in the morning at your accommodation or at the Jemaa el Fna square and departure for a 2 days and 1 night excursion to the desert of Merzouga, towards the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi N’Tichka pass at 2260 meters of altitude, with stops to enjoy spectacular panoramic views, we will also visit the Argan oil cooperative if you are interested, where we will discover the production process and we will be explained the countless benefits it has for the human body. We will continue to the city of Ouarzazate and from there, crossing the mountains of the Anti Atlas we will arrive at the viewpoint of Agdez, where we will stop to observe the panoramic view of the Draa Valley, which has the largest palm grove in Morocco, kilometers and kilometers of palm trees. 

We then pass through Nkoub and Alnif, until we reach the commercial city of Rissani where we stop at the entrance of the city for photos of the door of the desert, and from there to Merzouga to the hotel (if there is time you can enjoy some time with the pool until the departure time of the camels), where we change the vehicle for the camels to admire the sunset, spend the night in Haimas and enjoy the tranquility and peace of this spectacular desert, as the sunset in the dunes of Erg Chebbi (Merzouga) and the wonderful and magical starry sky of the desert of Merzouga. Dinner and overnight in typical nomadic tents of the desert of Erg Chebbi or in luxury tents (an unforgettable night under the stars with live drum music show and after dinner with a bonfire).

Day 2: Merzouga – Erfoud – Tinghir – Dades – Valley of Roses – Skoura – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas – Marrakech

Sunrise on the Dunes 

We will get up early to see the sunrise on top of a dune and then have breakfast, and return with the camels to the hotel or in 4×4.

Cultural Exploration in Erfoud 

Our journey of 2 days and 1 night to Marrakech begins with a visit to Erfoud. At Malaabe, immerse yourself in the local culture by dressing in traditional Berber attire and exploring authentic Berber stores.

Discovering Tinghir, Dades, and the Valley of Roses 

Next, we’ll travel through Tinghir, Dades, and the enchanting Valley of Roses, where you can experience the beauty of rose products and the picturesque landscapes. Optional coastal route available to save time.

Journey through Skoura and Ouarzazate

 Crossing the High Atlas to Marrakech 

Travel through the High Atlas via Tizi n’tichka pass and the picturesque valley of Ounila en route to Marrakech.
