6 Days tour Through the desert from Marrakech

Day 1: Marrakech – Jemma El-Fna – Traditional market.

We will pick up the whole group at the airport and transfer to the riad to rest and start our adventurous trip. We will enjoy a guided tour of the historical and cultural heritage of Marrakech, visiting: Jemaa El-Fna Square, the old Medina, the Koutoubia Mosque, the spice market, the souk and its mythical streets. At night the old square is filled with magic, aromas, folklore and culture, a real enjoyment. We will stay and dine near the square.

Day 2: Marrakech – High Atlas – Skoura – Valley of Roses – Dades Gorges.

After breakfast we leave Marrakech crossing the High Atlas through the Tizi N-Tichka pass, at an altitude of 2660 meters. In these mountains of the Atlas Mountains inhabit small villages in adobe houses, these villages are called Berbers. We will start the route of the Thousand Kasbahs, passing through Skoura and the Valley of the Roses through impressive palm groves and Berber villages. In this valley the damascena rose is cultivated, where we will observe the craftsmanship for the production of perfumes, creams, oils, rose water. Then, we arrive at the Dades Valley where we will stay, have dinner and breakfast.

Day 3: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga.

We will leave in the morning to the Todra Gorges, traveling through splendid landscapes and stopping in villages like Tinejdad and Erfoud to reach Merzouga. We will change the car to ride camels and enjoy the sunset on the great dune. Then we will go to our tent, authentic in the dunes. We will enjoy the tea ceremony and dinner prepared by our Berber cooks. We will live a dream evening with percussion music of the nomads of the desert. We will stay in a tent with the comforts of the Sahara, dinner and breakfast.

Day 4: Merzouga – Tazzarine – Ouarzazate.

In the morning we will enjoy the magnificent sunrise in the desert and have breakfast. Then return to Ouarzazate (Hollywood of Africa), where we will stay, dinner and breakfast.

Day 5: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech.

In the morning, we will be able to visit the Kasbah Taourirt and the Film Studios. On the way to Marrakech we will take a detour to visit the village of Ait Ben Haddou where several famous movies have been filmed such as Gladiator, Aladdin. There, we will see the impressive Kasbah declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Then we will continue our journey to Marrakech. We will stay a few meters from the square, where we will have dinner and breakfast.

Day 6: Marrakech.

We will have breakfast and then we will have the day at leisure until the time of transfer to the airport. We will end our services wishing you a pleasant stay.
