Itinerario Del Tour

Day 1 – Marrakech – Welcome and meeting with the guide at the airport – Transfer hotel or riad – Free time for a first contact with the city and its medina.

Welcome at the Menara airport in Marrakech and meeting with the accompanying guide.

Get ready to be surprised and inspired!

Transfer to the Riad.

Free visit at your own pace of DJemaa el Fna Square and the medina, the heart of the city. A unique experience, where all the night life and activity is concentrated: dancers, storytellers, jugglers, artisans, merchants and snake charmers. From the terraces of some cafes you get a wide panoramic view of the city: mosques and minarets, palaces and gardens, souks and bazaars.

DJEMAA EL-FNA SQUARE

This square is the main square of the city and throughout the day attracts tourists and locals alike, who go while the sun is shining to visit the stalls selling orange juice and water, as well as snake charmers, women engaged in henna painting or boys with monkeys.
At night the atmosphere changes and you can see dancers, musicians and minstrels, who fill the whole place, and provide an atmosphere of drums and fun. We recommend sitting in one of the surrounding cafes to enjoy the atmosphere or go for dinner at one of the more than 100 stalls that are set up at this time and with different types of Moroccan food.

Day 2 – Marrakech – Essaouira

Early in the morning, after breakfast, we leave towards Essaouira. Free visit of the city and streets of the medina, as well as its fishing port, dotted with delirious colors and attractive images. Here you can taste the famous fresh fish cooked at the time. Depending on the time of year you visit, you can do all kinds of activities. From strolling along the fine sandy beaches, sports and water activities, horseback riding and camel riding or relax in some of its Hammams.

Day 3 – Essaouira – El Jadida – Casablanca – Rabat

After breakfast departure to El Jadida and then to Casablanca. Visit the exterior of the Hassan II Mosque, if you wish you can make the optional visit of the interior. Then we will go to Rabat, political/administrative capital for a visit of the Mausoleum of Mohamed V, the Tower of Hassan II and the Kasbah Oudayas.
Free time for rest or to explore and discover Rabat at your own pace.

Day 4 – Rabat – Asilah

After breakfast, departure to the peaceful and bohemian walled city of Asilah, on the north coast. Free time to stroll through its streets and medina and enjoy its beautiful sunsets from its ramparts.

Day 5 – Asilah – Chefchaouen

In the morning, departure to the Rif Mountains, where you will find the charming town of Chefchaouen, famous for its streets and facades painted in blue. Free time to discover the charms of this town.

Day 6 – Chefchaouen – Roman ruins of Volubilis – Meknes – Fez

Breakfast and departure to visit Volubilis, capital of Roman Morocco declared World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1997. Then free visit at your own pace or optional visit with local guide of Meknes, a city linked to the name of Moulay Ismail, the great sultan of the Alouite dynasty. Visit of the walled Medina of the city, the Bab Mansour gate and the place el Hedim.
Arrival in Fez, cultural and religious capital of the country.
Free time for a first contact with the city and its medina.

Day 7 – Fez – Visit with local guide

In the morning, at the appointed time, departure for the visit with local guide of Fez, the oldest of the Imperial Cities of the country, approaching the gates of the Royal Palace and touring the Jewish quarter, the impressive Medina, with its typical stores and artisan neighborhoods, the neighborhood of the dyers, the outside of the Mosque, the Koranic School, Al Bouanania, and the University El Quaraouiyne.
Free time in the afternoon to continue enjoying the city.

Day 8 – Fez – Ifrane “Swiss Moroccan” – cedar forests and monkeys of Azrou – Middle Atlas Mountains – Medalt – Errachidia – Ziz Valley – Merzouga.

After breakfast, we resume the route to the desert through the university town of Ifrane, better known as the “Moroccan Switzerland”, and because it is one of the favorite cities of the king of Morocco, the cedar forest and monkeys of Azrou and the landscapes of the Atlas to reach the Ziz Valley, a vast palm grove. We will arrive in Merzouga at the foot of the dunes of Erg Chebbi.

Day 9 – Full day to discover the way of life and culture in the desert – Return to the dunes in 4×4 – Visit nomadic Berber families – Area of fossils and mines – Khamlia (including demonstration of traditional music Gnaoua) – Dromedary excursion – Magical night in Berber camp (haimas).

Today we will have the whole day to explore and discover the way of life and culture in the desert.
After breakfast, departure with the 4×4 vehicle to go around the dunes, visit the nomadic Berber families living in the area and have a tea, approach to the mines and fossil area to discover the natural resources of the desert and to witness a demonstration of traditional Gnaoua music by the group of Bambaras of Khamlia.
Mid-afternoon camel ride to reach the camp while enjoying a sunset that will probably remain in your memory as one of the best natural spectacles you have ever witnessed.
Traditional Berber dinner in the camp to the rhythm of drums under the moon and stars, surrounded by dunes and accompanied by a fire.

This is sure to be a magical night!

Day 10 – Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

We will say goodbye to the dunes and head towards Erfoud from where we will head towards Tineghir and Todra. We will make a stop to visit its gorges perched at 1,350 m altitude and surrounded by a palm grove, until we reach the town of Boumalne, where the other gorges called Dades were formed. A beautiful journey through valleys, Berber villages, kabashs and a landscape of contrasts between palm trees and vegetation. Today we will spend the night surrounded by mountains and valleys.

Day 11 – Dades Valley – Valley of the Roses – Palm grove of Skoura – Ouarzazate

After breakfast, we will cross the Valley of the Roses and the palm grove of Skoura to reach the city of Ouarzazate, located on a large plateau, known as the “Gateway to the desert” and the Hollywood of Africa.
Optional visits to the Kasbah of Taourirt and the Universal Film Studios. Free time for a well-deserved rest or relaxation.

Day 12 – Ouarzazate – Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas – Tichka Pass (2260m) – Marrakech

After breakfast, we will head to visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco and famous for being one of the best preserved ksours – fortified village – in Morocco.

Free time to stroll around the kasbah and climb to its summit to admire the views.
We will travel through the High Atlas Mountains crossing the Tichka Pass located at 2260m altitude with its beautiful scenery.
Arrival in Marrakech in the afternoon, transfer to your hotel or riad for a well-deserved rest or to continue enjoying the magical atmosphere of the city.

Day 13 – Marrakech – Visit with local guide

In the morning, at the agreed time, the guide will pick you up at your accommodation and start the cultural visit of the most emblematic and touristic places of the city.
The visit of the monuments and tourist sites is done on foot and accompanied by an official Spanish-speaking guide of the city.

THE KOUTOUBIA, one of the wonders of Almohad art which is located in the center of the city, where formerly stood a stone Palace called “Ksar AL HAJJAR”.

BAHIA PALACE, built in the 19th century as the residence of the sultan. Bahia means brilliant, in fact in the 19th century the Moroccans thought to have built the grandest palace of all time. To get there, we will cross the Kasbah market, the Jewish Quarter (El malah), the Souk of Spices and Badia Square.

THE SAADI TOMBS, one of the most visited places in Marrakech. These tombs date from the late sixteenth century and are located in an enclosed garden accessible through a small corridor. Past the threshold, we find mausoleums of great beauty, decorated with mosaics, and different tombs that keep buried sultans, warriors and servants of the Saadian dynasty.
In this tour, we will enter the ZOCO will also visit the MADRAZA OF BEN YOUSSEF, built in the sixteenth century was one of the most important Koranic schools. In it, its students lived in austere cells while they finished their religious studies. The most beautiful part of the visit is the inner courtyard with its architecture and mosaics, in harmony with the central pond used for ablutions before prayer. Here visitors will find an extreme tranquility, after having passed through the bustle of the streets of the Medina.

JARDIN MAJORELLE,

This garden was built by the painter Jacques Majorelle and therefore, he created it as he would create a work of art. As a curiosity, today it is often spoken of the color “bleu Majorelle” in honor of the blue used in most of the walls, walls and details of the garden. In the 1980s the legendary couturier Yves Saint-Laurent acquired it and increased the number of plant species to more than 300. It became his favorite corner, whose ashes he wanted to be scattered among bamboos and water lilies.
And finally the DJEMAA EL FNA SQUARE, which is the central square of Marrakech and the most important place in the medina. It is where the public life of Marrakech takes place both day and night. The best thing about DJemaa el Fna Square is the transformation it undergoes in the course of the day.

Day 14 – Marrakech – At the agreed time, transfer to the airport.
